Christopher (Toffa) Hendriks is a self-taught photographer, experimenting with various films, lighting, formats and subjects through the years. Often capturing the calmness and simplistic beauty of everyday experiences, he invites viewers to drift into a state of daydream.
Growing up spending the majority of his time in the Indian Ocean, Western Australia, Hendriks has cultivated a deep understanding of his natural surroundings – exhibiting an inclination to photography from a very young age.
After several years spent living, working and traveling through Europe, Hendriks has now returned to his home country. Here he resides closer to family and the ocean, dedicating his life to photography.
